The MINTD co-founders Emmelie König and Natalia Wallroth met each other on the tennis court in university and quickly realized that they have many interests in common, but most importantly, same visions. Both worked in STEM professions for several years and experienced corporate landscapes in companies such as Deutsche Bank, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Lufthansa, Daimler, Telekom, Coca-Cola, Ernst & Young or Infineon Technologies.
They quickly noticed the same issue: the underrepresentation of women in STEM fields and leadership roles. This mutual observation motivated them to found a business dedicated to actively placing female talents in STEM and leadership positions to change the status quo.

Today, we are proud to have established a growing network of female professionals in STEM disciplines, united by a common goal to close the gender gap and enhance the visibility of women in technical professions. Our network offers women worldwide access to both the international and German labor markets, promoting economic and academic equality. Through workshops, mentoring programs, and networking events, we support women in developing their skills and advancing their careers. We want to fight the imposter syndrom and encourage women to aim for higher positions and fully develop their potential.

Looking ahead, our vision is to expand our international network, connecting even more female talents across the globe with impact-driven companies. We aim to create an ecosystem where women in STEM can thrive, leading to more successful female leadership careers and greater representation in technical professions. Our future initiatives will focus on enhancing access to career development resources fostering partnerships with leading organizations, and advocating for policies that support gender equality in the workplace. We want to build a more inclusive and innovative working world and believe that the STEM professions play the crucial part in the social, digital as well as ecological transformation.
